Overview

Hexorcist is a Chrome extension that helps users pick colors from the active web page and convert, compare, save, and copy those colors for design and frontend development workflows.

Data Collection

Hexorcist does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal user data.

Local Storage

Hexorcist stores selected colors, recent color history, favorites, and gradient preferences locally on the user's device using Chrome's local extension storage. This data is used only to provide the extension's color picking and color management features.

Remote Servers

Hexorcist does not send selected colors, browsing activity, page content, or any other user data to external servers.

Remote Code

Hexorcist does not use remote code. The extension's code is included in the extension package installed through Chrome.

Permissions

Hexorcist uses limited Chrome permissions for its single purpose:

• activeTab: used only after the user starts color picking from the active tab.
• scripting: used to temporarily inject the color picker overlay into the active tab.
• storage: used to save selected colors, history, favorites, and gradient preferences locally.
