Overview

Font Snitch is a Chrome extension that helps users inspect typography from the active web page and copy font-related CSS values.

Data Collection

Font Snitch does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal user data.

Local Storage

Font Snitch stores selected font details, recent inspection history, favorites, and page scan results locally on the user's device using Chrome's local extension storage. This data is used only to provide the extension's typography inspection features.

Remote Servers

Font Snitch does not send selected font details, browsing activity, page content, or any other user data to external servers.

Remote Code

Font Snitch does not use remote code. The extension's code is included in the extension package installed through Chrome.

Permissions

• activeTab: used only after the user starts inspecting the active tab.
• scripting: used to temporarily inject the text picker overlay and scan page font styles.
• storage: used to save selected font details, history, favorites, and scan results locally.
